I am 31 years old.
I was born at Visakhapatnam, the city of beaches, but I grew up most of my life in Bhubaneswar, the city of temples. Currently I live in the beautiful town of Rishikesh since more than 6 years.
Education wise I am an Engineer (name sake 😉)
Professionaly I am a Software Engineer turned Hostel Manager turned Entrepreneur turned Freelancer.
I was working with a backpacker's hostel chain where I used to manage a hostel in Rishikesh and host people from all over the world and bond over friendships.
I quit my job in September 2019 to take a break and work on my next venture Moonlight Mowgli where I tend to offer off beat local experiences to travelers. I even had a chance to start my own hostel which I ran for 6 months until covid ate up, but the experiences are here to stay.
I love meeting people and I love exchanging stories and making fond memories.
I am an all time dog lover.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I am now going to travel frequently and couchsurfing helps connect with fellow travelers. The best place to be in if I am alone, it gives lots of information even before I plan my trip. Also you know: I am excited about the wonderful people I am going to meet.

I like to do all things at once,
Life has become a party with wonderful friends around. I like football, cricket and listening to music. I like to just get out and dance with friends, I like shouting loud at lonely roads with friends, I love dogs, the most. I feel them. I like travelling, bike riding with friends for long drives, at the same time I could just sit all day long and do nothing but write, read, observe and make sure that all the little things in life have some importance !

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It was a hot day in the summers and I took a cycle rikshaw ride and while I was travelling I saw the efforts a rikshawala puts in. I saw rain coming in all of a sudden and panicked if I would get wet, then he said " Don't worry I will reach you before rain hits you and I will not let you get wet and he started peddling faster. When I reached, I got down and went and bought a 1 Liter chilled bottle of Kinley Mineral water and gave it to him and said Please have it, its my honor. That moment when I saw the water pour into his mouth, that little moment is amazing.
