Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This year, as part of my self development journey, I'm wanting to spend more time and energy doing the things that bring me joy...not just the things i feel are productive.
I quit my job so I can reset my life a bit and really get to feel the world and not just hear about it!
Most of my friends I've made are international and i absolutely love meeting new amazing people around the globe! Sadly travel does cost and someone recommended couch surfing to me as a way to save some money so i can spend more time making great connections and experiences :)

Interests

Theatre (i perform each year at Pantomime and do improv comedy)
Games (I was a game developer so that fits!)
Living in the moment (amazing things can happen when you aren't set on your plans - something I'm learning each day ✨)

Hitchhiked from England to Germany and back over 2 weeks without spending money - the kindness and memories I've gained from strangers has been so inspiring and amazing ♥️

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to offer my home to any nice folks willing to let me in theirs! I'm also a project manager-type person as a day job with a knack for creative problem solving... So i can whip together spreadsheets, advice, and roadmaps if ever needed ;)

Also i always carry with me some spark cards or some form of boardgame... :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lovely energy, openness to spark and gratitude. I'd not want to promise too much because every connection is unique and depending on the destination i might more or less time/energy than others! Would of course be more than happy to help with cleaning, some cooking, or help you with some personal and professional consultancy etc! If you are open to some adventures, we could do something out of the ordinary together!
