One of the many beauties of solo travel that I’ve found is the freedom to explore different cities, cultures and have experiences completely different from anything back home, Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to meet different people and have those exciting adventures.

Huge music fan, my tastes are constantly changing, at the moment I’m listening to a lot of electronic music, 80’s inspired synth wave.

I like a variety movies, I’m really into Wes Anderson films at the moment, particularly The Grand Budapest Hotel.

I’m not as big of a reader as I would like to be but I do enjoy reading autobiographies, particularly of sports people and musicians. Duff Mckagan’s autobiography was a particularly good read.

In the summer of 2022 I took part in “Brave the Shave” getting my head shaved to raise money for cancer research. Prior to this I had long, shoulder length hair, safe to say it was pretty chilly for a little while after that 🥶

I’ve played guitar and piano for over 10 years, more than happy to teach or perform for you! I’m also a big sports fan, can share stories about different games I’ve watched and attended on my travels.

In addition to helping with cooking, cleaning and general housework, if you or your friends or family were interested in learning how to play an instrument I’d be more than happy to teach them, free of charge of course. I can also help out with basic maintenance for guitar, basses and other stringed instruments.
