ABOUT ME

I'm a Canadian student in my third year of my undergraduate but on exchange in the UK. I haven't really had many opportunities to travel outside of Canada and the States yet (which both have plenty to offer), so I'm super stoked to expand on my travels in Europe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I haven't had any opportunities to surf or host yet, but having heard about the amazing experiences that some of my friends had to get a more intimate experience in the cities they visit, it's definitely something I want to do. I like getting the local's perspective on what places to visit in their city, and being on an extremely tight student budget, I think couchsurfing is a great initiative to be involved with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The closest experience I've had to couch surfing so far is staying in hostels, and as I've mostly been travelling alone, it's been a great way to meet people to explore the city with. Also love getting to know the owners well as they've often got great insights in how to explore their city.

Intereses

I love adventure activities when exploring a city (rock climbing, sea kayaking, definitely going to try bungee jumping too!) An ideal day travelling would definitely also involve relaxing at the sea while watching the sunset (or rise if I can make myself wake up on time.) I definitely appreciate fashion/shopping (packed the bare minimum on this trip though) and have been to London Fashion Week. Music is a huge part of my life too, and I love seeing my fav artists live. And I've recently decided to pursue my goal to be a vlogger. What better way to start that then with my travels!?
