ABOUT ME

Adventurous, world-traveller. I love to sail and take my time in my travels. I prefer to really see the places I visit for what they are, experience the local culture and spend a lot of time in each location. I avoid "Euro-trips" or any packaged vacation where you just skim the surface in a variety of destinations.

I am working toward a live-aboard lifestyle on a sailboat and want to slowly travel the world on it.

Interests

Experiencing things that are new to you. Venturing into the unknown and being proud when you come out successful (or even of the things you learn when unsuccessful).

I am spending my time right now learning how to sail, getting crew experiences on other boats, and saving to purchase my own boat in the near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't actually done this yet, but I will be sailing from New York City to Bermuda, and then to St. Maarten in the upcoming NARC Rally in November. I have never sailed on the ocean before (only lake sailing so far), so I am both very excited and nervous for it. I'm sure this trip will be full of these moments.
