About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be authentic as I can , and be in the world. More fun and laughter always welcome

ABOUT ME
After a few years being absent from this site I see what I last wrote in 2014.
"I resigned from my job, changing career focus and now a post grad student.
I love learning. New culture, people, life. Self empowerment and growth are important. i read, travel, dance when I can."
I did the above. Moved to Tanzania and now back in South Africa. Living in the Western Cape Province but still have Durban in my heart.

PHILOSOPHY - trusting that life has your back. This is true now more than ever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i would like to meet my kindred travellers from the world, make new connections. At times a traveller feels weary and needs a feeling of family. I had the most amazing hospitality accorded to me in Tanzania and Kenya, so meeting new people and offering a space is a way of paying it forward and connecting to the human tribe.

Interests

Beautiful scenery, people living life in a simplistic way that is authentic. good movies, my family, reading and travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Personal growth books, music that has the ability to uplift the spirt and movies that inspire. Just reread many lives, many masters by Brian Weiss. It is an eye opening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i watched the movie, " eat, pray and love." I gave up my job, following my dream. The dream was to live in another country and I'm doing it while I research. I did it and now looking at embarking on a new journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Those who realise that the soul and spirit are superior to what you wear, drive and earn, are my family.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life's journey and hopefully some good laughter... A night or two accommodation when dates and times are synchronised. I live 40 km away from Cape Town CBD so I do not drive in often.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Benin, Botswana, France, Ghana, Italy, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Spain, Swaziland, Switzerland, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Africa, Tanzania
