I'm an Irish student in their third year currently making a go of studying Mandarin in Guangdong, China. I watch far too much TV than can be good for my eyes, collect socks and don't fully understand my own sense of humour sometimes but I hear people like it. I'm also fairly quiet, in case you don't think I'm funny (that's fair).

I'll listen to anything, from pop to jazz to electronic to rap, except for ballads and anything by James Blunt.

I used to read constantly when I was younger, but it kind of fizzled out to a book a month or so. I'm currently trying to get into poetry, and trying to make myself understand that I don't have the energy or force of will to read classics anymore so I can stop buying them.
I watch more TV than films, i've tried to give up netflix but I can't. I haven't seen a lot of films I probably should have, and I'm trying to get there but I always seem to end up watching sitcoms instead.
