I am from San Diego, CA, went to college on the central coast and moved to Adelaide, Australia after gradating for about 4 years. I am back in the USA now with my Aussie boyfriend in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. He's making wine for a local winery and I'm pouring some of it! We are not bringing in the big money in these jobs, but we are certainly enjoying ourselves. Unfortunately, we are living in an apartment provided by work that won't accommodate guests, however we hope that future accommodations will allows us to invite some like-minded individuals into our home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are finishing up here in the Finger Lakes in early August and are planning a nice, long road trip back to my home town in San Diego, CA. We've got a lot of places we want to see along the way and not a huge budget to make it happen. We are hoping to take advantage of Couch surfing as well as camping and Air BNB to make this trip affordable for us. We have used Air BNB a lot, but have yet to use Couch surfing. We love meeting new people, adventuring new places and obviously both have a passion for wine! We'd be happy to bring a bottle or few to share. :)
