About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel till my wallet is empty, shoes are frayed from severe overuse and my mind is full of the world that ive been lucky enough to witness

ABOUT ME

i have lived in a small village of 300 to 400 called Bishop Wilton all my life... its calm, beautiful and acts as the perfect get away for me and any future couchsurfers when the feet beneath u get weary.

im an open book in which every person iv met has wrote something, its a good way to live life, like an anthropologist im told.

travel obviously has taken me... the beautiful assortment of people you encounter keeps me fascinated, along with all the stunning sights, especially the tiny ones no one seems to notice on the way.

i started at 18 in Las Vegas and moved on through the US up into Canada and finished, after one plane flight and several long buses across the countries in New York... that was the best 2 months of my short life. since then ive worked to travel, started again in Vietnam at 19 and never looked back.

now im Australia, about to end an eventful year with a boat to back to Asia at the ripe age of 21

i generally dislike taking planes when traveling, the stories are always more interesting on land and sea so thats my method of transport.

mostly i just rely on the knowledge of others to decide where i want to go, thats one of the main reason CS appeals to me, to learn no just about where i am but where and how to get to the next place. i normally travel alone, the freedom to do whatever i want whenever i want is what i love but if someone i wants to come along for the ride then thats cool with me.

PHILOSOPHY

i dont know why im here or quite where i want to be, so i guess i will travel until i find somewhere or someone to stop me for a while... then probably head off again. really i want just to have as much of an experience of life as possible with as many diverse and open people as possible. as long as i have some good stories to tell when im old i will be happy...

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

autobiographies of anyone interesting travel journals, novels, comedies, epic tales of woe and love lost and more

music is fairly varied, anything from classic Motown to rage against the machine, daft punk to Toto. Pavarotti to Elbow... the list goes on, i couldnt travel without my music. movies play a big part of my life, when i have the means to watch them, thrillers, comedies, foreign films, even the odd rom com... there really are too many to list but i love to talk about them, watch and admire the intricacies they offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ive gotten into the belly of a huge metal bird filled with strangers and flammable liquid which took me around a humongous floating rock at an unfathomable speed to a place with even more strangers who made alien sounds that i couldn't understand... all i possessed was a backpack
