Since I can remember I have been interested in learning about other cultures. I love to travel and meet new people from all walks of life. I hope to be able to continue to travel well into my later years. I am a spiritual person and practice random acts of kindness regularly, not just because it feels good but, because it is the right thing to do. I have hosted many of my international friends in the past years before this cool site came along. It is a pleasure for me to showcase where I live in the city of Vancouver, and to maximize the time of the friends I am entertaining. I love to read and to push myself to do new things as often as possible. I find this keeps me young. At least young at heart. ;)

I am on Couchsurfing because I am a believer in the concept. Traveling the world can be very expensive. It can also be a bit daunting when you arrive in a new city and know nobody. Couchsurfing is a fantastic way to save money and meet new friends, love it! In the coming years I hope to do some more exploring and Couchsurfing seems like a wonderful way to make these upcoming trips more exciting.

As I mentioned, I love to read. Mostly books that empower me and push me out of my comfort zones. I also love to keep active, either exercising by working out or playing sports like basketball and baseball. I also love music and have had the privilege of DJing at some incredible places around the world. It is just a hobby for me now but I will always love music.

Recently I participated in a Temazcal Ritual just outside of Puerto Vallarta.

This was truly an amazing experience. One where a person can get in touch with oneself with the help of an experienced Shaman by ridding away negative energy by sweating away the toxins that have built up. Have a look online if you'd like to try it, I recommend it.

Other than my comfortable place, I know the city of Vancouver and surrounding areas very well as I used to be a concierge for many years here in the city. Therefore I am well aware of the best activities to do as well as extensive knowledge of some of the finest restaurants in the area. In addition to all this, I have a large network of close friends who also love to mingle it up with new people from other countries etc.
