I love to travel and spend time in the wilderness. Thus far, I've been to 59 countries. I was supposed to do a 5-country tour of Asia, but Covid screwed that up. I intend on doing that in 2025, if I can find others to join me. I organize events in Meet Up, from hiking to camping, horseback riding, river rafting, etc. For example, I took a group to summit Mt Kilimanjaro (7-days) and safari (4-days) in '22 and '24. I love learning, whether in school or from the school of life as a road scholar. Life is short and I love to make the most of it!

I have two requests of anyone staying with me: A. people must have at least 2-3 verifications complete, as they're free and easy (unless you're a secret agent or make arrangements with me); B. that any couchsurfer staying at my place is a non-smoker! I had cancer (2005), underwent surgery, chemo and radiation. So I'm definitely not interested in having anyone stay here who could contribute to lung cancer or any other cancer(s).

Otherwise, I love meeting new people from abroad while I'm at home, until my next adventure and as inspiration for a new adventure overseas. I have an empty couch that is super comfy and an unfolding sofa. I hate living alone, so it's great having people around to hang out with; especially since I love the outdoors.
