Live in a small apartment with my fiancé, and my six-year-old son. Our town is absolutely stunning in the summer, and we live walking distance to downtown and the lake. In the winter... well, that's another story altogether, really.

I love meeting people, and love to travel. I've met many hospitable folk on my journeys, and would love to offer the same to others.

Music - loads of it. Though I'm not particularly skilled myself, my fiancé is a wonderful drummer, and we are generally surrounded by incredibly talented people. I just love sitting there listening to someone perform and absorbing it.

I also love to cook - so that's a bonus, really.

Music fluctuates so often for me! Anything live. Absolutely anything. I would go to a gig a night if I could. For recordings, I listen to a lot of Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Rod Stewart, USS, Beastie Boys, NoFX, Protest the Hero, Refused, and The Gaslight Anthem - to name a very convoluted few.

Movies - I gotta say, I love 'em, but I always fall asleep. Always. I love the original Star Wars trilogy, though, and any of the X-Men flicks. Blood Diamond, Children of Men, and anything along those lines where I get intensely emotionally-attached to the characters. And comedies! The cheesier the better. I could watch Pitch Perfect all day.

I love the Harry Potter series. LOVE THEM. Also the Abarat series by Clive Barker, for the killer artwork. I've recently started the Game of Thrones series, as well, and have read many of the Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon.

I love languages, and have a knack for them. I'd love to learn to speak like six different languages. English is my first, and I'd like to think I've got a pretty good grip on that - usually. I can speak French well enough to survive; my Spanish is pretty abysmal, but I'd love to improve it.
