ABOUT ME

I have lived an unusual life and have spent a lot of mental, physical, and spiritual energy looking for harmony. I have a lot to say about joy, freedom, and competence. I can be very warm, understanding, and enthusiastic, and also impatient, elitist, and fickle. I have spent most of my life living in boats, tents, cars, buses, backyard shacks, and treehouses and providing for myself by busking, sign painting, and the occasional lucky break! They would say that i value honesty, love, and growth above all else and that i aim to spend 100% of my time living those values. Also they would say my band is awesome! and I'm a good cook! and I always do the dishes!and lets ride bikes!

Interests

I love great music of all sorts, making it, hearing it, recording it, feeling it....I love sailing, I am a member of the Floating Neutrinos a group that builds both blue water sailing rafts and inland river rafts from recycled materials and takes them all over the world. I am also a founding member of the Miss Rockaway Armada. I like sailing more conventional crafts as well and am working on my captains license. I love making arts and crafts and drawing. i am working on several comics and zines. I love the adventure of travelling to places i have never been with no end in sight, broke and hustling for the bare necessities of each day, and being free.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A night at sea on our homemade 50' catamaran no moon yet but the brightest blanket of stars above me. the wind was light and the sea was flat, reflecting the sky. as we moved gently through the water we kicked up sparkling green phosphorescence. it was like sailing through the sky leaving a trail of stars.
My boyfriend and I pushed a puppet show cart over the Pyrenees through the south of France into Spain then we took a ferry to Italy and walked the cart across to Venice. It just rushed over me all the fairytales and images of magical lands from my childhood...they were here in Europe! I had just walked through the world of castles and mossy hills, and sea cliffs and little villages made of stone and now i was surrounded by a floating kingdom...I had never felt history like that before...I guess that's pretty American of me!ha!
