I also like to volunteer alot.
I work as a fulltime computer, photo, & video teacher at a charter school for Urban Youth. It's totally amazing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled around the world before and it was a really interesting way to meet new friends and have a homey place to stay in faraway lands. Now im semi-stationary and ive got a nice big sofa for visitors to land on.
& roommates that like hosting too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive gotten great travel advice, warm meals, and great conversations when mobile. On the homefront i love showing people around, not only to give them the experiance, but i find when im hosting i end up being alot more active ! (ie.yah know, instead of staying home and reading a book ill actually take people out to all the rad things going around in portland!)

Interests

Postcards, making cardboard-robots & cut-out postcards, being places i have never been before, making things, helping others make things, live-music, video art & boardgames & tea & movies & dancing. i like classic history and national public radio too.

nothing beats running around with a super enthusiastic mob of Chinese kids and pointing at things and shouting as loud as we can.
