ABOUT ME

My name is Shay
I am a sydneysider who loves music, art, the beach the sun and good times. And most importantly good people.
I love travelling, meeting new people and going on adventures. I~m also nice, respectful and welcoming to whoever comes my way, or to which way i come.
I study psychology and environmental studies at the Univeristy of Sydney, and I am still trying to figure out what I should do when i finish study.
Right now i am intrigued by entrepreneurship and areas which have somewhat do with positive impact on the environment, peoples lives and the community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im not sure what i need to write about participation. But if its participation in Couch surfing, then at the moment i would like to participate as a couch surfer, who would love to be host and be nice to my hosts. A surfer who is comfortable sleeping on couches, who would love to help with dishes and cooking. But most importantly a surfer who is nice to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I will be bluntly honest, I have no official couch surfing experience so far. I have traveled a lot and stayed at friends places, which has been incredible and nice. But i am yet just a beginner to couch surfing, who would loved to be accepted into this circle of goodness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two greates things on my mind at the moment is

Having walked The Inka Trail, got to machopichoo after 4 days, and have set there amongst the ruins, meditating and observing, looking at the beautiful serrounding and appriciating the grandess of this ancicent kingdom.

Another cool thing is discovreing samba circles known as Rodas, in Brasil, and just dancing and clapping and moving the music as I see how the entire serrounding which so far has just been a street, or a corner is being infused with incredible music, people, smiles, laughs, and life. Incredible thing to see

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn everything about anything.
There is so much we can learn from eachother, and that i have learnt so far. Some of it you seek, some of it you just find. I would love to learn anything i can about music, art, travelling, community, peace, culture, spirituality, history and more.

What can i teach? I can teach a little bit of language to whoever want to learn. I can teach who to make a website or start a music/art project or how to cook some types of foods.
