I've couchsurfed abroad a couple of times and love it. I'd love to meet up for now and when I get my own place it'd be great to start hosting too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Star Wars, Sound of Music, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Love Actually, Slumdog Millionaire, Fight Club
Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers is my #1 but other than that basically anything. I usually just find something random on 8tracks and never have any idea who the artist is when I'm listening to music.
Books: Love the Enderverse, Fahrenheit 451, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, Kingkiller Chronicle, Mistborn, HP, His Dark Materials. Currently reading Dune for the first time! Love sci fi and fantasy. Outside of that Eduardo Galeano's Book of Embraces is a favorite. Mindy Kaling, Tina Fey, and Chelsea Handler's books always make me smile.

I can take you to a college football game and/or show you the best bars/restaurants in the area. Decent hiking, too!
