I've been traveling for the last 4 some years around Oceania. Most of that time has been spent in Australia, but traveled around South East Asia and India too.

I decided to start traveling because until I was 23 I had never lived outside of Manhattan. I was unsatisfied with the daily routine of life and feeling like you work to accomplish only rent paying, and nothing more. I started traveling because I knew life could be bigger than what I had going on.

I've worked many jobs, fun, weird, challenging, creative, physical... and met many inspiring people. Seen many unbelievable things, almost died once and still write home to my parents. I believe traveling is essential to knowing better who you are and what life is about, so I passionately throw myself into the backpacker lifestyle. I have much more to learn and see and do, but I'm not ready to settle yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided to join Couchsurfing to better facilitate my backpacking lifestyle. I have been lucky enough to be self-sufficient in my travels so far, but sometimes we all need help and a friendly face and a safe and warm place to sleep.

Currently i have just started a new chapter of my ongoing journey and I thought i should try something new, so here I am, newly fledged onto couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and meet the Dalai Lama. Myself and some traveling Buddhist companions all got blessed with a Kata from his holiness ont he last day of 2013.
