Hi, I’m Shayan – a Persian researcher living in Germany.
I studied at Ruhr University Bochum and now work as a researcher at university . I love this wild rollercoaster called life – not just the highs but also the lows, as they’ve all shaped me into who I am today. I enjoy connecting with people, especially when we can skip the small talk and dive straight into meaningful conversations. I’m always open to meeting new people, whether fellow researchers or guests from different walks of life.

When it comes to books, I have to read a lot of them for my studies, but I also love reading for fun and I wish I had more time for it.
Literature opens windows into other people's minds and into entire new worlds. I like dystopian novels like 1984 and this meaningful sentence “ perhaps one didn’t want to be loved so much as to be understood “
but my favourite book of all-time is still Jean-Christophe.
