About Me

CURRENT MISSION

working at a contact point and advice centre for refugees. playing football (right forward), guitar, bass-guitar, banjo, ukulele, and mandolin. enjoying historical boardgames and books of people that died centuries ago. dealing with the troubles of life by listening to punk-rock-music, drinking irish whisky, beeing v.i.p for my cats and watching all kind of football-matches, even the boring ones.

ABOUT ME
honestly, i just might be a pretty average berlin-kreuzberg-kind-of-guy. i like to interact with all kinds of human beeings and enjoy the diversity (in many regards) that kreuzberg has to offer. i like to see bands or artists, hang out with friends, go to the cinema too see some weird scandinavian movies and take a lot of interest in social and political issues. i am supporter of a club, which does not originate from berlin and i do have a job that allows me to stay up as long as i want to. my flatmate has a phd in philosophy, got bored about it and is now happy, working at a bar. my 2 other flatmates are cats, which are, in fact, the cutest cats in existance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i like the idea of sharing things.
i like the idea of not simply consuming a place, but taking interest for it and the people that are living there.
both as a host and as traveller i like meeting people that i otherwise never would have a chande to meet. i otherwise never would have met a young baker i a fairytale-village in france or an australian guy, that, coming to berlin, felt the need of wearing socks - for the first time in his life.
