ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Erik & I live in the city of Meppel which is a 'gate-way' to the northern parts of the Netherlands (with big cities like Groningen and Leeuwarden)
Meppel is easy accessible by train and I live just 5 minutes walk from the central station.
I can offer a meal and 2 beds for one or two nights,
apart from that show you around in the magnificent National Parks that surround Meppel.
I work as a doctor but during holidays and weekends I'm also a guide to these Nature Reserves and I can show you places you won't easily forget!
In summertime, when it's hot, I know this this hidden crystal clear cool lake near Meppel where you can swim, fish & dive and watch the lobsters crawl on the bottom at 5 or 6 feet deep ! If you can catch 'em we can BBQ them in the evening at my balcony..

Saw the Geysirs in action on Iceland.
