To better understand myself... Because if one cannot leave the comforts and discomforts of everyday life to reflect and improve upon that experiential routine, self-perspective can never truly be attained.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy a laid back life, but need a balance. I love hanging out with my friends and family, traveling, biking, adventurous sports/extreme things (eg. rafting, sky-diving, canopy tours, mountain climbing, hiking etc.), art- especially drawing and photography, watching sports, movies, going to carnivals, watching fireworks, rooftop parties, and live music. I am also a dancer and choreographed for the past two years. Traveling is one of my most favorite things to do. I have been to many different cities and countries and have been able to meet many different people. I love the city, but also love kicking it back and relaxing at the beach. During my free time I volunteer and love helping- If I could be anyone I would be Kim Possible and try saving the world =)

This is random, but I also love making lists! I make millions of lists. Lists of songs, lists of things I need to get done, lists of my goals to keep me determined so I can reach my dreams, and lists of things I would like to work on.

I joined couch surfing because I love traveling and exploring different cultures. I am studying abroad in Rome, Italy for this Fall semester of 2011 and would love to meet locals or other travelers. I would also like to meet more people while traveling to different countries as well.

PHILOSOPHY

"The only constant in life is Change" I want to be as open minded as possible for different curves in the road ahead of me. I think it is important to be as happy as possible and appreciate everything in life. As cliche as it may sound, you really only do live once- or remember this life so make the most of it. I don't want to let a moment pass by where I don't make the most of it. That doesn't mean every day will be an amazing day, but I won't be afraid to feel. Even if I'm hurt, I think sometimes pain can be taken for granted as well. I am okay with asking questions and not always finding an answer.

A lot of my friends have hosted couch surfers from all around the world this past summer. Many of my friends themselves have also couch surfed. I personally haven't had the chance to do it, but would love to try it!

This one is hard because I love watching movies, listening to music and reading.

Movies & Music: Honestly I'm pretty much down for anything and everything. Some of my favorites are Coldplay, U2, The Script, Kanye West, and Tim & Jean. Sometimes it depends on my mood though. I can't always watch a certain genre of movie and I don't listen to the same type of music. I love to change it up =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hiked up mountains in the Himalayas.
