ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I give 110% to anything I choose to do. If you're not all in, your're out!! It has been suggested that I become a stand-up comedian, although I have no intention of going all in on that one! I love a good conversation and respect differences in people. When I have the opportunity to learn from someone who has different backgrounds/perspectives/ideas than me, I enjoy the experience because I continue to grow as a person.I want to do it all in life, but find that time and money sometimes hinder that dream.

Family is one of the most important things in my life, and traveling rates a close second. I work to travel and experience the world, a passion that I have enjoyed sharing with my kids. While my free time has been limited while I was going to college and raising children, I am now starting to have time to read, pursue creative endeavors and spend more time with friends. Anytime I can help others succeed, I feel good. I really love working with kids in special education, teaching them strategies to overcome any challenges they may face. I am considering a career in nursing, as I would love to travel and see the world while helping people who need my services.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My first experience skydiving left me speechless, as I pushed myself to overcome my fear of heights (and propeller airplanes) in order to make the jump. Nothing is more exhilarating than seeing the world from the clouds and overcoming something you fear because it made me realize I can overcome many obstacles in life. Besides the joy of seeing my children born, which any parent would probably agree is amazing, another exciting day in my adult life was the day I graduated from college. Having held onto the dream of earning my education, I finally graduated with a four year degree at the age of 42. As another challenge to myself, I overcame my long held fear of public speaking to deliver the Commencement address at my graduation.
