About Me

I've grown up and still live in London, which probably explains why I have a travelling bug. My next trip is to South Africa and Lesotho. I am open to food, drinks, photography, and new experiences, even if some of them may scare the living daylights out of me (looking at you, highest bungee jumping in South Africa).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use this more as a forum for engaging with other travellers: to see the advice on offer, the events yet to happen and the general tips that come from other people having done something similar beforehand

Interests

I love my music, I think Spotify said I listened to the equivalent of a month in play time. I love my electronic, hip-hop, jazz, classical, Bollywood, and Mauritian sega. I would love to get suggestions from other styles, even those I may never have heard of. Next on that list would be exercise or sports in general, happy to either partake in a sport or to discuss it. My last major interest is learning new languages, I have learnt two in my own free time (German and Hindi) and would love to continue more languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movie has to be La Grande Bellezza. Just look at the direction of the movie, it's so beautifully done. Plus, the storyline of where the film revisits the partying generation of La Dolce Vita to find a world that is struggling to adapt. On the subject of my favourite book would have to be To Kill A Mockingbird. It is the book that launched me into the world of literature and to do this influences my worldview and beliefs. No other book has done as much to shape me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having learnt a language at a young age and then forgotten it.

Teach, Learn, Share
