ABOUT ME

I am a university student who loves to travel. I have lived my whole life in Oregon in the United States, but I have traveled to many countries both with my family and on my own. I speak English and Spanish. I am an animal trainer and have a dog and cat at home, and have raised wolf pups at Wolf Park in Indiana. My friends would probably describe me as unique, intelligent, curious, dedicated, and caring.

Interests

I love to travel and learn about other cultures, and I plan to continue traveling the world throughout my life. At home I love training animals and working with kids. I just completed my Master's degree in animal sciences from Oregon State University, and am intending to start a Psy.D. in the fall of 2020. I also enjoy volunteering, spending time with friends and animals, and learning and trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a gap year before starting university and lived with a host family in Cusco, Peru for four months. Many of my fondest memories are from that time I spent with my host family and traveling in Peru. With my host family I loved the feeling of becoming like part of the family and immersing myself in Peruvian culture. Also, I did a four-day trek to Machu Picchu which definitely left me awestruck.
