Hi!

I am a University student studying Sociology & Peace and Justice Studies. My passions are traveling, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, gaining knowledge on intriguing things, and making the world a happier place. I started traveling when I was young with my family, and then caught a bug which led me to travel on my own for the last 4 years. I took a gap year after high school and moved to Cape Town, South Africa. From here I travelled, volunteered, interned and LIVED all over Sub-Saharan Africa before going to SE Asia. I left by myself and realized how much I loved the mysteries and surprises of traveling independently.

I met so many fantastic people who are best friends of mine to this day. That's why I decided to get on couch surfing. I wanted to share the love that I received when I was traveling!

My favorite book is In Cold Blood, I had to read it for an AP Lang class in high school and it has stayed with me since. I love reading books written by investigative journalists and books about events in history.
