ABOUT ME

Not really sure how to describe myself. Hum?

Well I've been married for 18 year with two kids. Home schooled my kids most of the time. My oldest child now lives out of the house. I've worked in the health care field for many years as a laboratory technician, while performing in magic / comedy shows with my husband on the weekends. I quit the hospital work to focus on a more artistic life style. I've been a Disc Jockey and the owner of a very small entertainment business for 12 years. I love great music, good friends, good food, and red wine. Love to DANCE! Salsa, swing, or just free form.
Most of the time I live a quiet life, but I am always up for some good fun. My husband is a comedian with his own show in Las Vegas.
My husband has described me as being level headed, fair, funny, independent, easy going, and an empathetic person. I will write more at a later time when I have given this some thought.

As for my self I've always thought - "clear out a little space on the floor and I'm fine"
I don't have any formal "CouchSuring" experience.
For those looking for a couch, I’ve been told that I am a great hostess.

Interests

I love music of all kinds. My least favorite music is what's popular on the radio. As a Disc Jockey I play the popular music all the time for weddings, etc...
I collect world music and anything unusual. I love cooking, gardening, going to concerts / shows. I do an occasional art piece.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - most everything. One of my personal favorites is Jack Johnson. He is someone I can identify with (lyrically). Lately I've been listening to Rupa & the April Fishes, a San Francisco band.
Movies - I love a good comedy and also quite a few French films. I am learning French at the moment.
Books - anything educational. Mainly medical/health related.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
