I am a Third Culture Kid! My childhood consisted of postcards, toys, knick-knacks, and money from my dad's U.S. Navy travels. So naturally, I caught the travel bug at a very early age. I've moved more times than I've had birthdays, that adjusting to new environments and making new friends became second nature to me. I am open-minded, down-to-earth, and curious about what others have to say. I love spontaneous adventures!

I want to have meaningful travels. I don't want to explore just to see, but to experience, to share, to gain insight on the people and the culture. Ultimately, to change my perspective.

Intereses

Música, películas y libros

I started out listing all the bands and artists I like, but it still wouldn't capture my taste in music. When I was just a toddler, I would wake up on the weekends to the Eagles, Chicago, and Journey blasting on the cassette deck. So those will always give me the feels. My favorite would have to be Air Supply, if I had to choose. I've gone through multiple phases of music, and it's now just an eclectic mess. After watching Eat, Pray Love, I've gained a new fascination for bossa nova. I need recommendations!

I'm horrible at watching classic movies. I just use that as an opportunity to watch it with someone. My favorite movies are P.S. I Love You and Before Sunrise.

I was volunteering in Morocco for 6 weeks, and every weekend we would take a trip to another city. One of our trips was to the Ouzoud waterfalls. One night we went back to the waterfalls, which involved hiking and crossing a mini waterfall. When we arrived at our destination, it was the Rastafari shop owner who kind of hosted us, providing snacks, shisha, and musical instruments. It was an amazing time being with like-minded people in nature and music. Keep in mind, this was in the middle of the night. Everything was closed, there were no people, and it was dark. The trek back was a bit scarier than on the way there. I'm actually afraid of heights, and I also don't know how to swim. Our phone batteries have died, so only a few of us could use flashlights. Apparently, the others were chased by an angry donkey??! Anyways, after the adrenaline rush, we arrived at our stay, where we piled blankets and pillows on the rooftop and literally slept under the stars.

Oof, unfortunately, I'm a jack of all trades and just know a little here and there about things because I need variety in my life. I can provide English help and a bit more about language because I'm a linguistics major. We can exchange traveling stories. I love to learn, especially when it comes to psychology, language, even in the general sense, anthropology, philosophy, and so on.
