I am a student from Taiwan and currently studying abroad in Boston University. I like movies and am currently studying film-making plus English Literature. I try to be sincere and genuine when I meet new people, and that's what I wish I can do a lot: to visit new countries, experience and meet new people from all over the world. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is one of the most economical, and brilliant way of traveling. I tried Couchsurfing in Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland) and every single experience was an absolute delight.

Interests

I love film-making and literature. Love reading books, comics, mangas, and watching movies--any forms of storytelling. Also interested in religion and art history. Recently start doing Parkour and love it. Love listen to "Rent" soundtrack and sing with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

No doubt, "Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind" is my favorite movie. I also enjoy others like Marvel (superhero) movies, drama, and those by Christopher Nolan. A newly found favor of Hollywood Classic is (not "Casablanca" but) "Angels with Dirty Faces." I don't know much about musics, but I love listen to them. There are a lot of books I like, none of them well-known: "The Marriage Plot", "The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards", "It's Kind of a Funny Story", "Master and Magarita"...

Bike around the Taiwan island in 9 days, which is about 1000 km (700 miles)

Taiwan is what I believe a place where Eastern and Western cultures collide. That is what I can share, cultures of Taiwan mixed with influence from China, America, Japan, and more. I also want to share people my interests, like the movies I like, the books I've read, and things I love to do. I wish to learn anything I can learn!

I am from Taiwan, a place full of excessively delicious food, night markets, kindness, and a high sense of "root." I'd love to share my Taiwanese Culture, which, like I said, was a mixture of Eastern and Western. I can also share movies I like, and talk about different moods of storytelling.
