I spent 6 months on a student exchange in Stockholm, flew off on the day of my last paper... right into a 50-day backpacking trip around Europe. Best. Trip. Ever.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to surf in many places around Europe and USA, and learn about different cultures, languages, music, people, ways of life... the never-ending list goes on.

I'm excited about life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed with a wonderful lady in Nice, France. Not only was her sofa bed awesome, but on the last night of my stay, she hosted an aperitivo dinner party at her place as a farewell. And then as I went to Marseille next and her boyfriend's from there, she asked for her help to bring me around the city! How wonderful can people be? Thank you Sophie and Olivier.

In Marseille, I met 3 cool hosts who put me up for a few nights. I was waiting at the metro for about 3 hours and was pretty sure they wouldn't show... but I got lucky again! I had a wonderful stay with them - football and beer. They played guitar too and I had a lovely stay. Thank you JP!!

I once surfed with an American architecture student in Florence, and he introduced me to his American and Italian friends. We went to a 1 euro club (literally), and I hosted him when he had the chance to visit Stockholm, making sure to introduce him to my friends too. It's funny how people from different cultures can always get along somehow - it's amazing. A million thanks, Trent!

Intereses

I love playing volleyball and beach volleyball! A day at the beach is always a good day.

I also love playing the guitar, trying new things - food, or activities that get my adrenaline pumping.

Making new friends and learning about different cultures and places also makes me very happy!

My life is complete.

And I am always awestruck by music!
My favorite guitarist is Tommy Emmanuel, and I feel so connected with his music and what he is trying to say.
A good night for me is to listen to good music - Prague has a really good scene for that, we saw local Czech bands where "the music was so bad, it's good" - because it was so funny to sing n dance along with the locals, and many top-notch jazz and blues bars.

So that's my life so far!
