I am a Silk Artist painting images of Goddesses and Angels to facilitate planetary healing. I received an AA degree in fashion design in 1984, which transformed into a love for painting on silk. For twenty-two years I have painted with French dyes on silk. With brilliant colors and feminine flowing lines I create an essence of sacred sensuality in every painting. Silk is alive and holds an energy of transformation and healing, which I love! I also design wearable art clothing from my hand-painted silks; including dance veils and sacred goddess gowns. Now with a collection of 52 silk paintings I have published an oracle deck! The MagdaLion Oracle is available for purchase on my website www.sherandasilks.com.
As a mother of three children, now young adults in college, I now enjoy creating paintings, that emerge from my dreams. By the use of bright, colorful imagery, that is transformational and very imaginative, I hope to inspire others to explore their own creativity and healing path.

Mount Shasta is my home for now, however traveling the world, is on the horizon for me. I am drawn to live in Spain, France. Other countries i feel an affinity for are Austria, and Italy. My nationality is Polish, and i was born and raised near San Francisco, California, USA.

Sheranda wrote an elective course for The University of Metaphysical Sciences about Mary Magdalene in 2006, and she self-published a book about Mary Magdalene in 2008 titled, ‘An Honest Talk with Mary Magdalene: Freedom through Christ Consciousness’. Her second publication was released in 2012, 'Mary Magdalene in the Blissful New Earth, The Visionary Art & Inspirational Writings of Sheranda Ann Kumara. She feels that Mary Magdalene is a very important and powerful female icon of today. Healing the Divine Feminine is also the main focus to her art, along with raising awareness of all the Galactic Beings of Light that are assisting us to create Heaven on Earth, as we birth ourselves through the Planetary Shift that we are currently immersed in. Sheranda considers her spiritual ancestry to be connected to the planet Venus. The Kumara’s are from Venus.

As a mother of three children, now young adults in college, this silk painter enjoys spending time with her new creations, that emerge from her dreams. She feels that visionary art responds to the planetary healing crisis in such a way that awakens the viewer to the possibilities that life has to offer, through healing love and beauty. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am following inner guidance! My soul searching is telling me, loud and clear, to relocate to Spain, or France! These promptings are very spiritual and I am following my bliss!

I worked very hard to raise my three children, under poverty conditions. Fortunately I raised my children well and they are now happy, self-sufficient young adults! I have been divorced and have stayed single since 2001. I have no ties binding me to the USA and my budding art career brings me much financial abundance! This abundance will only increase in Europe I feel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have sold more original paintings in Mount Shasta, in the past five years than 95% of all the other artists of the area. I have showcased twenty-five of my original silk paintings at the Sacred Heart Sanctuary in Mount Shasta, California, USA. I have raised my three children well and they are now happy, self-sufficient young adults! Oh, that's three things! LOL

Teach, Learn, Share

I am ready to start teaching silk painting to tourists. It is very fulfilling and fun, even for beginners! I want to learn to speak Spanish and French. I want to share my heart in a committed romantic relationship.

I wish to visit Prague in Czech Republic, Dresden in Germany, Vienna in Austria, Barcelona Spain, Paris, Italy and the South of France.
