I am an easy going person, usually laughing or being a goof about something. My life very much revolves around travel and adventure when I can take the time off; I've left my job in Australia to enjoy myself these past few years outside of the 9-5 life. I LOVE music- going to live music gigs, hiking, road trips, camping, new to snowboarding but very much falling in love with it!

I recently spent 18 months in Canada on a working visa with a large chunk of that time in a van camping across Canada and back (Vancouver island to Prince Edwards Island and back) with some friends. Heading back to Canada now for my last 6 months of visa after some time with friends and family in Melbourne, Australia.

I wanted to experience backpacking in different way.. after so many amazing couch surfing experiences and some life long friends, I don't think i'll ever stop using it.

-Hiked the stairway to heaven in Oahu!
-Volunteered as a park ranger in Australia at a few national parks
-Drove from Vancouver Island across to East Canada and back over 5 months, dipping down through the states to Yellowstone NP - the road trip plan originally came from my friend and I seeing a fiddle band from a folk festival back in Australia that hosted their own fiddle festival in Rollo Bay, Prince Edward Island. Was very much a spontaneous decision after we finished our ski season experience in Revelstoke BC.
