ABOUT ME

I grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. I was lucky and had a wonderful childhood, playing kickball in our cul de sac and building forts in the woods near our house. I went to a great high school where I was very involved in everything from Drama club, Quiz Bowl, Mock Trial, playing the violin in the school orchestra, to National Honor Society, and volunteering. I went to college in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota where I got my degree in Business, specifically Marketing. During college I was Vice President of the University Mock Trial Association. I was also able to study abroad for a semester in Tasmania, Australia. This first international adventure gave me the travel bug. I couldn't wait to go abroad again. Lucky for me my 3rd year of University a new student organization came to campus, a wonderful student organization called AIESEC. I immediately got involved, doing marketing and eventually business development. My involvement with AIESEC changed my life. I decided that after I graduated I would go and work abroad, and that is exactly what I did. I worked in Kosice, Slovakia for almost a year, travelling and experiencing all Europe has to offer. Now, I'm back in the States and working for a Logistics company in a suburb of Minneapolis. I'm enjoying spending time with family and friends and seeing more of my own city.

I hosted people at my apartment in Kosice, Slovakia and will couchsurf when I travel again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All positive, the surfers that have stayed at my house have all been great people. We've had very interesting discussions about world events, travelling, and cultural differences.
