I grew up in a small place in China and have lived in various cities since adulthood. Chongqing is undoubtedly my favourite. My later move to New Zealand in pursuit of a better and happier life has luckily worked out very well.

I settled in Rotorua in 2021 for its lush forests, wonderful mountain biking facilities, stunning natural landscapes, and its central location in the North Island. I’ve been enjoying this new chapter very much.

I met my first host via a friend I met on a trip, which opened me up to the fascinating world of Couchsurfing. Since then, I've had many wonderful experiences as a couchsurfer.

With some space available in my home now, I'm keen to meet wonderful people and continue my couchsurfing journey from the host side when I'm not traveling :)

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Hitch-hiked 22,000km across China and through Tibet and Xinjiang, after a 4,000km bike tour that reached the northernmost town of China.

Once "couch surfed" at a student dorm in a midwifery school in Vietnam, despite not sharing any fluently spoken language! I still remember the extraordinary sight of countless motorbikes filling up the entire school ground in front of the dorm building the next morning 🤯
