ABOUT ME

I am a beginner at CS. I am an easy-going and open-minded person. I like exploring the world and meeting interesting people. I grew up in China and after that I have been living at many places including Japan, Sweden and France. I'm interested in languages and knowing about different culture. I like cooking Chinese food and Italian food. I like tea. I like coffee but I in general don't drink coffee after noon because I cannot sleep later.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a journey, good companies makes it more colorful. A special one makes it the whole wonderful life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participated some CS people dinner gatherings when I was staying at my friend Stephanie(who wrote my first reference on CS!)'s place in Paris. I met lots of interesting people who were really nice and helpful; I tasted delicious food and had wonderful time. I have mainly stayed at my friends' when I was traveling so far. Ever since the experience with CS people, I start to love it and I think CS is a good place to make more friends around the world. It takes time, but late is better than never.

I like almost all types of movies, sometimes it is hard to understand and follow some movies, in that case I just give up watching.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment that I realized I was actually really riding a bike and I couldn't stop it; the moment that I realized I was really swimming in the water by moving my body; and the travel experience in NYC which I think is the most amazing city.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I am a good cook of Chinese food. I can teach you how to make it.
Learn: I want to learn how to make different local cuisine and how to bake better cakes; I want to learn to recognize different mushrooms and pick them in the forest; I want to learn more about Canada.
