ABOUT ME

An endurance junkie with a food and traveling problem.
I am slightly obsessed with triathlons and long distance running, with two of my life goals being competing in the Boston Marathon and Kona Ironman World Championships. It helps that I have a degree in kinesiology.

My second love is nature, and I live to engage in self-propelled activities in the great outdoors. Anything from hiking to cross-country skiing to bicycle touring.

When I am not working/training/playing in the bush, I enjoy cooking and baking. Always on the hunt for unique healthy recipes!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got my first taste of it in Tasmania, Australia and the south island in New Zealand, and can't wait for more. When I lived in Taiwan I finally did my first hosting to reciprocate the hospitality and it was fantastic!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2014, I rode my bike from Vancouver to Quebec City solo to attend a French program, and got to experience the warmest Canadian hospitality while seeing some of the most beautiful parts of the country for the first time.
