Hello!

My name is Shin, and I'm a curious but relaxed guy currently living in Switzerland. I am passionate about playing football/soccer, I enjoy solving problems, but above all I love meeting people around the world and learning about their cultures. I've been fortunate to be able to live in & visit a few countries in my life, and I plan to continue this lifestyle as long as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never really know what to respond when people ask me where I "come from" because a lot of people categorize me based solely on this one piece of information. Obviously, a pair of coordinates on a map shouldn't constrain anybody's personality, ambitions, etc. This is why I like to spend time with people that live in the places I travel to and get to know them on a personal level, instead of just going to touristy places and making misinformed judgements about the behavior of a particular group of people that look like they "come from the same place". CS is the perfect place to do just that; meet locals, share experiences and enjoy each other's company for who we are, not who we are supposed to be.

I slept in a cave in a mountain above the clouds in Artenara, Gran Canaria.
