CURRENT MISSION

At the moment me and my girlfriend Sophia ( also a medical doctor) took 10 months of unpaid vacation to get to know some more parts of the world!
We have been travelling through the Balkans, Greece, Turkey and Georgia with our mini- van for several months. Currently in Mexico City we decided to travel to Japan --- and get to know the country travelling by bike!

ABOUT ME

Now. I am 37 years old- I have finished my medicine studies about 4 years ago and have been working in a hospital (Intensive-Care Medicine and anaesthesiology) in Berlin since.
In the past i was a little bit lazy in conquering the world due to my life in berlin in the late 90´s. I grew up trying everything, lost some focus, and have been regaining it since. in this time i was captured by this city and i almost never came out of this town. i made a lot of party and my great interests in electronical music started there.
in 2005 times changed and my studies began, i moved to leipzig, leipzig is really nice toooo and i had a great time there. Since March 2011 I am back in Berlin and still enjoy the City!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

couch surfing group is truly sweet experience for me. its simply great concept :) it's like a family all across the globe.so i would be glad to be part of this and host people in the future whenever i can. it's really great to learn different things about culture of different countries and open my mind for things i did not know before. couch surfing is a really good platform to know more about different culture from different people with lots healthy discussions during couch surfing meets.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sophia and I have both been couchsurfing in different parts of the world -- both having only good experience.
We have both hosted lots of people in our lives on a private base (friends from friends from friends). We also hosted back several people that we initially met via couchsurfing -- but on a friendship- basis (not anymore via couchsurfing) . - So unfortunately I don't have many recommendations as a host. I hope you can accept that!

兴趣

i am very much interested in people, their life and their problems but also their pleasures - and to share this.
i like to cook and have dinner with friends, to talk until late about anything and laugh about crazy subjects, the best conversations came from nothing.
the last years i liked climbing a lot, but at the moment i am a little bit afraid...
going out and dancing is still one of my favourites, Although having started working there is not so much time for it anymore and life has become a bit more tranquil!
