Overview
About Me
Hello, my name is Shingo (伊藤真吾). I'm 30 years old and I live in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Now I'm traveling Czech Republic, and I'm planing to travel other counties in Europe. Because this is my first time abroad, sometimes I'm a little shocked at cultural differences, but I would like to learn the way the people around the world do. I think and hope that it enables me to know not only about others but also about myself and my country.
I'm a little shy (especially at the beginning), but open-minded and polite. I cannot express my thoughts and feelings enough in English, but I'll try to do my best. I'm looking forward to meeting you, thank you! ありがとう!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm always looking forward to meeting new people and especially to experiencing ordinary life that people around the world live every day. I decided to use Couchsurfing, because I think it could be one of useful ways to meet new people and to learn from each other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few yeas ago, I traveled whole Japan by bicycle and visited many beautiful natural places. Especially in Hokkaido, I lived in a forest and helped a family, who tried to make their own life there, to build their house.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love music around the world. So I can share a lot of my favorite musicians with you if you also love music. And I can share what I, as a Japanese who was born and raised in this country, am and have been thinking about life. I'm looking forward to listening to hosts' story and learning from their experience.
