ABOUT ME

my adult life bookended by concern for a U.S. government run amuck. In between these bookends my education/interests/small businesses mostly concerned forestry and envirnmental issues. My last business, after extensive travel in south asia in the early 90s, was to work with Vietnamese handcrafters and to import their products into the US wholesale market. For the last 15 years I've spent at least 6 months/year in Vietnam. Four years ago I sold this business and I now am settled in Hanoi.

PHILOSOPHY

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", known in the US as the Golden Rule.

I have a lifelong interest in why landscapes are as they are, have worked in forests and have studied them, and I try to stay up on energy and other environmental issues.
