I've been trying to host as often as possible and of course answer everyone's messages, but unfortunately I get so many requests I can barely keep up with them all!!! Please don't hesitate to contact me, and I will do my best to accommodate. Even if I can't host, I would love to meet up and give my own personal tour of Philly. Happy travels :)

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Shiran! I talk too much so I'll try and limit what I have to say nabout myself ;) I'm a hedonist and incredibly passionate about traveling, writing, languages, history, art and fitness. I love meeting new people from various cultures, as well as immersing myself in foreign culture. I believe that every day of life should be spent on a new discovery/experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an avid couch surfer, as well as a couch surfing host. I've had the best experiences hosting at my house, and my roommates have enjoyed hosting as well. I especially love giving a personal tour of Philadelphia to my guests! CS has broadened my mind and my world, and now I have so many beautiful friends in countries all over the globe!

I lived in Italy a few years ago, and most of the best people I met were through couch surfing. It's because of this that I believe so strongly in the couch surfing community, and try to promote every way that I can. As for hosting, I've had a fabulous enriching time with everyone who has stayed with me.

Interests

I have a wide variety of interests, but I am most passionate about travel, writing (and blogging!), learning new languages, film, art (painting, pastels, architecture), and history (especially art history). I am also a power lifter, and thus a gym addict. I love meeting couch surfers and like minded people who share my passion for exploring the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought a one way-ticket to Italy and departed two weeks later with only $60 in my bank account. And somehow managed to find a job before the $$ ran out.

I'm a personal trainer, so I can share workouts and fitness tips. I'm also a good English tutor :)
