ABOUT ME

this used to be the profile of me (Shir) and my ex-flatemate from Jeurslaem, Ori. It's been a few years since we've hosted lovely people from different countries in 2014. Now my friend Hamutal and I are begining some travels together and would like to meet people in the wonderful places to which we will go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hosted several times in Jerusalem, and were also hosted in the past. Now as we intend to travel our wish is to meet people wherever we arrive and hopefully get to be hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unexpected and brilliant things happened to me when I was hosted in the past in France and Portugal, traveling to places I wouldn't get to visit otherwise, and the best is to get to experience a culture a place a community through the eyes and heart of a person living there, and not as a "customer" walking around in a way consuming the surroundings. and also when we hosted - I got to see my own city with a different persective thanks to our guests, and learn about other places even without visiting.
It's just a lot of fun to share ideas, thoughts, laughs.

Interests

Curiosity - not exactly an interest, but it's the motivation for so many good moments in conversations and encounters. Hiking in the wild listening to the sounds of life . Reading. Running. Connecting with what is
