ABOUT ME

Hello everyone my name is Shirley. I am a mother of three daughters (Fonella,Petal and Crystal) and I am a wife to my wonderful husband Del.
I cherish my family and love to help each of them whenever necessarily.

Both my husband and I do not currently work, because we are retired. My old job used to be an office job in an investment business, but before that I was a dental assistant, helping those smile more in life was my skill.

After working for awhile, I now enjoy a lot of leisure time with my husband. We love to travel around the United States. Mainly to national parks and other landmarks that was made through history.

I love to see life grow in many different forms,such as seeing my daughters grow and how much they mature in life makes me so happy. (That is why I am about to take this adventure to Europe with my middle child; Petal. She is currently a college student in Wurzburg, Germany. We are going to have some mother daughter bonding time while I am over.)

PHILOSOPHY

"Learn from others is wiser then learning the hard way, things that could save you time."

I believe its good to take advantage of learning from others the mistakes they made, and reflect it to yourself so you do not make this mistake. Also, I believe that sometimes people are suppose to be in your life for more then one reason.

I would love to give back to this community, maybe in the future I will host some surfers at my residence in Pennsylvania, United States.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have no couch surfing experiences. This is the first time I am using it along with my daughter who used it a few times before.
I can't wait to experience what its like to be part of another community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday, I see wonderful things happening around me, what God could do is amazing in general. I don't think there is one memory that is greater then the others, I appreciate what life handed me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach- Inform others of things that they are not familiar with about the American culture. (Guess we will see, once I meet you what sort of discussing we get into. Either way, I am 100% sure we will teach others things that they did not previous know about. That is the art of getting to know new people.)

Learn- I believe, I can learn so much through this experience by my host knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, and preferences.

Share- I would love to share others about my experiences when it comes to traveling and everyday life situations and who knows maybe we will end up teaching others the best method on coping with different problems.
