ABOUT ME

Currently Essex resident. On weekend run away mission!!!.
I have traveled to over 20 countries, but mostly stayed in hostels. I am trying to find hosts and be a host here so that I can befriend people. I believe CS is one of the best way.

I have traveled across India strictly to learn its people and culture. I won't disappoint you on your urge to learn about India and stories of its people in case you are interested :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We, a group of travel enthusiasts meet occasionally in Southend area to share our travel experiences. I don't have a great place to host. So no hosting experience yet. I am looking for more people experience rather than the easy tourist experience.
I have participated in few London walks with one of the couchsurf group active. Prefer to participate in more events and meet new people.

My plan to host guests are open now. If you find my place ok, just send me a message. If I am traveling, you could even get my own place for the weekend.

Reading, culture, tribes, history, politics, geography(I am a Geography enthusiast) traveling, languages,philosophy, photography- I keep posting pictures in instagram and geotag it whenever possible. You could find it here https://www.instagram.com/spullur/

I like filling the underlying map.... Looks like I am addicted to that map !

I follow political stories with great interest and detail especially those directly effecting that small community in south India, I am originally from.

音乐、电影和书籍

Loves the music and not the language the lyrics are in !
I have a strong liking for Indian music. May be it is classical or from pop or country.
Progressive rock to anything in western. I should better say I would listen to anything. I would like or at least carefully listen to any country's traditional music.
Movies:
Movies based on real life events. I have this habit of watching historical movies and read about it in the next few days ;)
Pedro Almodovar, Roman Polanski, Abdel Kechiche, Nolan, Greengrass, Florian Henckel and few from my regional language.

Herge's Tintin is an inspiration for my travels.

Solo travelled to North India in trains and buses, connecting local people.
Boating in Ganga river in Varanasi at dawn.
Hiking the Chembra peak and many other hills on western ghats in the rain.
Stayed a night alone in a hostel in an Island in Finland.
Coastal walks along the lands end in Cornwall.

I believe I am a good planner. I can help to find some of the cheapest way to explore Europe.
I could lend a helping hand if you are planning to visit India and definitely some good ways to explore Kerala, the southern state of India.

A couch in the living room. Kitchen and bathroom. Can share my time if it is a weekend/holiday. Indian food.
