12.5% Danish. 100% Awesome. I have been bitten by the travel bug and I've been to 27 countries. Just got back from SE Asia, other parts of Asia and Australia. Now in Richmond, VA for grad school!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The get togethers I've gone to with couchsurfers are always fun and interesting. Everyone shares the same wanderlust and comes with fascinating travel stories and experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first couchsurfing experience at the end of May 2007 in Chi-town. I guess I haven't couchsurfed since then because I've just been staying with friends/family in places. But looking for some couch-love soon. Went to several couchsurfing parties in the DC area and met lots of cool people.

Love foreign films and documentaries and movies with dry humor. Music - all over the place - but depends on my mood. Classical is always calming. I love non-fiction book, essays or commentary on life. Don't do sci-fi or fantasy. But recently getting more into thriller-type novels.

The most amazing thing is the feeling I get when scuba diving, breathing underwater and experiencing a completely foreign world. It's like being on another planet.

Though I haven't been for awhile, I'm a scuba diving and snowboarding enthusiast. Been sky diving a couple times. Ran some marathons. I would love to learn how to breakdance. Or ballet. Or both. At the same time.
