Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Rock out with my socks out, mostly.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado. I've taken a nice little gander around, and have realized that there's nowhere else I'd rather be at this point in my life.
I believe in happiness, and spontaneity and doing exactly what you want to be doing exactly when you want to be doing it as much as you possibly can.
That said, I tend to be off on adventures a lot. Please don't be offended if I don't respond to your message right away, it's just kind of the way it is. You gotta do what you gotta do (so they say).
I also like rock climbing and skiing and hiking, and generally being an outdoorsy type of person. I'd be perfectly content living on the side of a mountain in a tent for the rest of my life, and don't see much point to lives lived in cubes.
PHILOSOPHY
"Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!"-Ferris Bueller
"Wilderness is not a luxury, but a necessity of the human spirit."-Edward Abbey
"One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving."-Paulo Coelho
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In my experience, most people on here are pretty neat.
You're neat, I'm neat. Therefore, we should probably be friends. Just saying.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All of my couchsurfing experiences have been awesome! I've made life-long travel buddies, exceptional coffee buddies, and have had some pretty awesome folks on my couch. Couch folks, yes.
Interests
I'm driven and motivated towards the things that make me happy. Lots of things make me happy, especially: going just to go, dancing with abandon, dancing with a bandit, eccentricism, carnies, making up words, huge mountains, street performers, aspen groves, fresh-picked blackberries, swing dancing, vintage hats, eclectic food, climbing up stuff, acquiring irrelevant knowledge, swimming in creeks, old growth redwood forests, ducks, noodles, belly buttons, whimsy, havoc, little metal boxes, shiny rocks, academic pursuit, cliff bars, living fast and hard, q-tips, late-night hikes, skinny dipping, that piney-fresh smell of the mountains in the summer, tweezers, burning the candle on both ends, self-induced fear, flip-flops, and impulsive acts of greatness.
Other than that, I'm always good for a random adventure, and love to meet awesome new people!
