Overview
About Me
Freshly arrived from the Renaissance, simply followed the stars and somehow ended up here. Still a bit jet lagged from the century shift. Not a time traveller, not that you’d ever know.
Now drifting from city to city, towns to villages, and into more trouble than I plan for. I make art, get lost in strange places both real and imagined, and talk to strangers until they stop being strangers.
Basically, a man of myriad passions, with a particular fondness for the arts and sciences.
Should our paths cross, beware: I might have a small, incurable habit of peering into your thoughts and stories, and the way your eyes contain a certain world. Strictly for research purposes, of course.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be able to meet and connect with some wonderful people.
Interests
I like my interests to be piqued and my curiosity to be restless. I love the freedom of just being able to learn and evolve, to explore new things, understand old ones, to know more of this world, this life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything that thrills me, makes me hold my breath and ponder deeply over things or sometimes just close my eyes and enjoy the little fleeting sensations of its brilliance. There's lots of such stuff when it comes to art, you'll know eventually.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
—Watched the morning sun tiptoe across the dew on blades of grass.
—Got lost in Borges’s labyrinths.
—Collecting seashells and weird stones from different shores, secret trophies for the memory drawer.
—Climbed tall trees (coming down was another story).
—Meditated for a whole day straight.
—Helped a lost little girl find her way home.
—Lay under a starry sky all night on an empty road with a close friend.
—Danced until dawn on a quiet, deserted beach with friends.
—Had a few close calls with the authorities.
—Walked barefoot on dew soaked grass after a heavy rain
—Met countless remarkable souls along the way
What I Can Share with Hosts
—Artful pleasures of cinema, endless poetry and paintings.
—A love for history and science, past and future, that cloaks itself in the present and keeps searching for a good place in a conversation to enter.
—A dense world made up of smiles, anecdotes, accidents, thoughts and tastes (or just good food)
—Some interesting music.
—Some terrible dance moves.
—Jokes that are sometimes funny.
—An honest passion for exploring life (or gossips, just kidding)
—A good time.
