One of my dreams is to live simply with the person I love 🏞️🐢 building a tiny house, growing my own food, and being surrounded by nature.

I moved to Finland from Japan in 2024 with my husband, Jerry. We love making things ourselves and right now, we're renovating our vintage house with just the two of us!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before Couchsurfing, I often traveled offline by hitchhiking and staying with locals whenever I could. I made lots of unforgettable memories that way! now, Couchsurfing is a fun way to connect with interesting people :)

-My life has been inspired by adventurer books and documentaries, such as Hosono Michio and Naomi Uemura. I also enjoy scifi, from classic to modern. especially Christopher Nolan’s films are special to me.

-I love music! especially psychedelic/punk rock, indie, alternative, electronic and 50-80s. (alt-j, Tinariwen, Neutral Milk Hotel, La femme, King Gizz, sakanaction, Kikagaku moyo, Bruno Pernadas, Maribou State, The xx, Zammuto, Daniel Johnston, Just Mustard, Kurt Vile, Puuluup, YMO, Monika., Yak, Psychedelic porn Crumpets, Daft Punk, Heilung, OMNIA and more! )

-Manga was like my LIFE textbook!!! especially Hunter x Hunter, Attack on Titan, and of course, Ghibli films, which shaped my childhood soul :3

I enjoy exchanging cultures and diving into different worlds I’ve never been to, including the one you live in! 🪐

Teach, Learn, Share

I love working with my hands. from farming and cooking to crafting, drawing, music, and cleaning.

I also enjoy onsen, saunas, karaoke, hiking, nature, and traditional cultures.

Currently, I work in mental health support for children.
In the past, I’ve worked in farming, environmental education for kids, NGO work, a local veggie stand, and sustainable food communities in Australia and Japan.

Cheese is my weakness 🤤 and gyoza (dumplings) is my favorite to make and share! it’s fun to cook together~
