We live in Las Vegas, Nevada with our three dogs Charlie Brown (chocolate lab), Emily (also a chocolate lab), and Gizmo (a Shibu Inu mix), and one cat Athens. We also have two fresh water fish tanks.

Intereses

We love life outdoors! Both of us have a passion for enjoying nature. We frequently go out with friends to try new bars and restaurants around the city. We take trips to California to go to Six Flags, Disneyland, and the beach. We also enjoy going to National State Parks like Red Rock and Mount Charleston to go hiking, as wells as Cold Creek in the summer to go fishing with our puppies. Though we love to stretch our legs and be adventurous, we wont pass up the occasional opportunity to be homebodies and enjoy each others company at home. Our favorite homebody activities include Netflix, Disney movies, pancakes, and just managing life with all of our furry four-legged WILD children. Dani, the Biology Major of the house, loves her animals! I tease her that she might possibly be an animal hoarder. Anything to do with wild life is always an obvious interest for her. We both also enjoy volunteering for programs such as the Nature Conservancy as well as volunteering at Mount Charleston.

Música, películas y libros

Dani prefers to watch horror movies and psychological thrillers, while I like watching animated and kung-fu movies. We both enjoy watching Netflix Original Series and documentaries together. We are also both big kids at heart and have a soft spot for anything Disney.

When it comes to music we both enjoy music equally and listen to a little a bit of everything. Dani likes to listen to punk rock, Salsa, and Spanish rock and Shonda likes listening to hip hop and alternative rock. Together I would say our tastes in music is pretty eclectic.

Shonda enjoys reading American Literature and books relating to spirituality. A few favorites for her are Travels with Charlie in Search of America by John Steinbeck and Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda. She is currently reading The Untethered Soul by Micheal Singer.

Dani does amazing work with the kids in the Las Vegas School District. She runs a program called Mojave Max and teaches school aged children how to appreciate and preserve the Mojave Desert along with the famed desert tortoise it habitats.

Dani's the social butterfly. Shonda is more on the reserved side. But together they both enjoy connecting with people and hope to bring a lot of fun and laughter to a host's home during their stay.
