ABOUT ME

We are travelling around the world for eight months, experiencing South-East Asia, Europe and South America. This holiday is a well earned break after finishing university and before starting full-time work.

We both enjoy eating good food and drinking tasty beverages, so this trip will be a culinary learning experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Aisha: Through my work I aim to lessen the impact that our homes have on the environment. I also live my life to learn and believe in a cultured and educated society.

Matt: I believe in the sharing of experience, culture and knowledge. I am curious and try to grab any opportunity to learn and try new things. I enjoy other's company, and try to be good company myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We stumbled on the CS Project while travelling so can not actively host anyone at the moment. However, we can see ourselves becoming more involved once we return home and have a house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We do not have any experience with anyone from the CS Project, but we have stayed with friends and would appreciate the chance to start our CS experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

We're both engineers (one electrical, one environmental) that have experienced the university life in Australia. This means we are able to share our technical knowledge, as well as the university culture in Oz.

Matt would like to learn to cook local cuisine (and Aisha wants to sample it).

Aisha is keen to learn Spanish.
