Interests

I love compost toilets! We have one here at our place and it so much symbolises how I love to live. Simplicity, recycling, giving back, nature
I love that our waste can be transformed into nutrients and life for other plants and animals.
I love learning about ways to live more lightly on this earth.
I am passionate about death or rather the awareness of my mortality!
I love meeting with awareness the fact that this body/mind is only a temporary spark. That spins me out and brings me very present and makes me realise what is actually important in this brief and fleeting experience called life.
I love being a clown for kids. I love kids- their innocence and play full ness and ability to be silly and filled with laughter and life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well I don't watch much tv and I am not a big movie buff....mainly cos there is so much rubbish out there and I find myself getting disappointed too often so I don't bother. Of course I have a few favourites- Ground Hog Day is a classic, also the Abyss. The First Matrix- the rest of them were crap. Contact I liked too....
Books: At the moment I find I am mostly drawn to nonfiction. A couple of favourites include Who Dies by Stephen Levine, I get into Eckhart Tolle stuff.
And of course I am reading lots kids books to jyoti- the cat in the hat, and my fav pop up book; the wheels on the bus go round and round......

Most music I enjoy- accapella, ladysmith black mambazo, cafe at the gate of salvation.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once a few years ago my girlfriend at the time took me to a dissection lab for my birthday! I know it sounds gruesome but it was totally wild. A close encounter with death you might say and a meditation on my own mortality. It was great to see all these bodies and body parts that were once people and wonder who they were and what their stories were and to contemplate that this body too would be the same one day- a lifeless corpse! It makes me go WoW! life is really so short and precious. We only really have NOW.

Skills I have
building skills, Ashtanga yoga, play, clowning around- balloon animals I can twist a balloon into lots of different shapes. Magic.
Meditation. Silence and spaciousness.
Holding space for others if they need it.
A good ear for listening.
I can make a mean water rocket!!
Oh, I can build a compost toilet too!!
